Rev. Dr Eloi Sobel Dogue, is a Senegalese national, lives in Nairobi, Kenya, with his wife and children. He trained in Intercultural Studies from Christian Faith Theological Seminary-CFTS Lagos, Nigeria the African campus of Kingsway University & Theological Seminary - KUTS, Des Moines-USA, and also in Community Development, Programme Management and Organizational Change Management, with over 25 years of experience in cross-cultural missions in more than 35 countries and 5 continents.
Eloi has served in various strategic positions in African ministries, such as Christian Commitments Director with World Vision Senegal, International Director of Research and Strategy with Calvary Ministries- CAPRO with over 700 missionaries, and as a member of CAPRO International Council - CIC for eight (8) years. During this period, he was also the Chaplain of the Agape Chapel at the CAPRO international Office in Lagos and as the Apostolic overseer of West Africa French speaking countries.
He has been also active in AEA (Association of Evangelicals in Africa) circles for several years, having served as a member of the AEA Executive Board & President North West Region from 2010 to 2013 and was the President /CEO of the National Evangelical Fellowship- NEF of Senegal (FES) and Senior Pastor of the Evangelical Church Keur Jamm in Dakar during the same period.
He served also as Executive Director of Evangelism, Missions, Youth & Sports Commission of AEA and as ACTEA (Association of Christian Theological Education in Africa) Francophone Liaison Officer in the same period. Eloi has taught Christian Missions in many mission training centres, theological institutions and bible colleges/seminaries.
Rev. Dr Eloi has a passion for discipleship, missions and reaching the Unreached People Groups –UPGs and the youth/students. He strategically partners with Churches, mission agencies and Christian organisations across the globe to fulfil the Great Commission and impact the next generation of youth and mission leaders.
With his amiable wife Rev. Francisca, a trained cross-cultural missionary fondly called ‘Mama Chica’, they have founded the DEKINA MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL -DMI which vision & mission is to recruit, train and deploy workers across the middle belt of Africa to plant viable and multiplying communities of disciples that understand and obey the Great Commission.
Dr Eloi is fluent in both French, his lingua franca and English. He likes reading, travelling and Christian music.
